StumbleUpon Course Enrollment Now Open

Posted on April 3, 2008

The Traffic Rush course is no where near complete yet but I have put a basic enrollment form on the site so that you can sign up now to start receiving the lessons once they are available.

If you have any feedback on the course curriculum, the website or anything really please feel free to leave a comment.

Hi Caroline – I understand that you want to get your content and your launch just right, but I want you to know I can hardly wait till you go live :-D I just have one burning question – are you considering having affiliates? – I already know from what you’ve made available on your blog that your course will be excellent and I would like to promote it and earn a little $ at the same time – thanks, Megan

Best wishes with this, Caroline! I’ve signed up for the free course and am interested to learn more about the fee-based course.

@Megan, hehe it’s nice to know you’re excited about the course! Yes I do plan to have affiliates but not right away. I’ve never done this kind of thing before so I want to get it right. I’ll do a small launch at first to make sure I iron out any technical difficulties and so on before I open it up to affiliates.

Hi Caroline, can’t wait to get my hands on the course :)
BTW, how can I subscribe to this blog’s feeds? I guess you’re still working on it…

@Louis, hrmm I have setup the RSS feed behind the scenes but I haven’t added a button. In whatever reader you use, you should be able to put in the URL of this blog and that should automatically pick up the feed. Soon I am going to be adding a sidebar to the design and when I do that I’ll add a more obvious RSS button.

Hi Caroline – such a great idea getting your site up before the course is complete – certainly adds to the launch and ‘buzz’! I am certainly interested in the web2.0, social media type tools and this is one I have heard much about, but really haven’t looked much into. But know its very popular – so I am really looking forward to this. And is fantastic you are offering the free ‘basic’ lessons – I am sure you will get signups for the more advanced lessons when the quality is there! You have picked a great market here – there is still not much around in terms of lessons in this area – yes, lots of these types of sites, but not the ‘how-to’s’! Great stuff as usual. And take your time, don’t feel pressured. We can wait – we don’t want you to to feel stressed :-) Its all very exciting! Warm Regards, Meg, Adelaide, South Australia.

@Megan, yeah there is a lot of information about StumbleUpon in the blogosphere but a lot of it is quite basic, and I’ve not seen anybody else write anything close to what I have in store for you guys :) I’ve even surprised myself at just how many little intricacies there are to explain!

Look forward to your course content. I am enrolled in my 2nd 30DC with Ed & his gang to see if I can make a monetized site fly….

This course appears to be a great opportunity to learn [and maybe earn if you are offering any partner/affiliate relationships].

    Please keep us informed.

Your voice is one of rational, valuable communication, which is rare in the world of IM.

Glad to find you and getting to know you.

BTW, we all have horror stories upon which to reflect. My approach is to try not to let our past limit or dictate our future. Sometimes it tough to see an event as an opportunity, but it almost always is….

How about a Personal Development/Coaching category to keep that stuff where it belongs, real but separate.

    Best regards, Kent
